Condors for Classrooms

(1st - 12th grade students)

This customizeable program teaches students about the endangered California Condor with topics covering:

  • fun condor facts

  • the important role of scavengers

  • conservation and ways students can help the environment

Students can go from never having heard about condors before to being big fans! A lot of scavengers have a bad reputation and are thought of as gross or ugly. I want to share my enthusiasm and passion so students can have a unique look at condors and see this fascinating and beautiful bird the way I do!

Duration: ~50 minutes.

Cost: $25 per classroom plus travel expenses.

Sloth Students

(1st - 12th grade students)

There is so much to like about sloths, but how much do your students really know about them (besides how adorable they are)?

Through delightful sloth photos and videos, we will:

  • learn cool sloth facts

  • dispel some misconceptions

  • explore how/why sloths should be appreciated as wild animals (cute but not cuddly)

Students are encouraged to show their enthusiasm for sloths by bringing sloth plushies or wearing clothing with sloth designs! I'll be decked out in sloth apparel too!

Duration: ~50 minutes.

Cost: $25 per classroom plus travel expenses.
